QA has years of experience in the industry and have a fantastic track record of delivering shelving & racking systems, mezzanine flooring, office fit outs and other outstanding products. Not only can we offer almost 30 years of experience, customers can also be assured that any project completed by QA has the SEMA seal of approval. QA has been a qualified member of the SEMA Distribution Group: The British Trade Association of the Storage Equipment Industry for a number of years now. SEMA is an independent body that assesses contractors compliance with health and safety, building regulations, site safety and much more, and is a symbol that all of the work we carry out is completed to the highest standard both in terms of quality & compliance.
What is the SEMA seal of approval?
If you work with a SEMA Approved Installation Company it is an assurance that they are dedicated to making continuous improvements to their business and are committed to staying up to date with the latest health and safety legislation. To qualify a company must illustrate a high level of commitment to safety standards, the industry codes of practice and are annually audited. SEMA Approved Installation Companies are fully committed to SEIRS (Storage Equipment Installers Registration Scheme) and are required to make sure that all installers hold a valid permit. Each company approved by SEMA will have at least one installer on their team who is qualified to a SEIRS Supervisor level.
What Do You Have To Do To Achieve This?
Only around 20 businesses nationwide have SEMA accreditations as it is not easy to achieve. A company must have been up and running for at least two years and must hold a distributorship from a recognised manufacturer of storage equipment.
QA have had to demonstrate a high level of commitment to safety standards and to the industry codes of practice. QA has always taken our safety and quality extremely seriously, however, this independent verification of quality will reinforce this even further. One of the most telling signs of high-quality standards is that all members of SEMA must commit to a random audit of their work in order to be accredited.
High Quality Through & Through
What better way to ensure quality products and services than to know they have been professionally and independently audited? The whole process is audited from the initial quotation to the final sign off. This means that all of our customers can be completely confident that they are in expert hands from the very beginning.
SEMA helps to form and further push the industry recognised standards in the United Kingdom, and also represent the UK’s storage industries national interests in Europe as a whole. This allows QA and our customers to have a louder voice within the industry; across the United Kingdom and Europe to make sure that all of our customers’ requirements are met.
